Everything Murff and Other Stuff

McKenzie and Lincoln have their moments with each other, but it is beautiful how close they are. When they sleep they like to lay next to each other. Lincoln actually needs to feel that she is close by. I can just sit and watch them sometimes, but she will instinctively put her arm around him or on him. He snuggles right in and goes to sleep. :-)
This was also at the Children's Museum - our favorite spot! Lincoln had a hard time sharing this truck with other children. McKenzie just found something else to do. Lincoln sure likes being in the driver's seat.
We went to a birthday party at a Indoor Water Park! McKenzie had so much fun. She wanted to pose for all of the pictures before the water would splash her! Lincoln was really upset that he could not get in, but he just got over a cold. I can't wait to take them back so they both can enjoy the fun.
This is from our trip to the Indianapolis Children's Museum. McKenzie and Lincoln LOVED the Clifford exhibit. As you can see....McKenzie is still in love with the cowgirl boots! :-)
So Cool

McKenzie is so fresh and so clean!! She likes to walk around in her auntie's shades. Very fashionable!

Pooh

This is Lincoln as Pooh Bear minus the mask and gloves that came with the outfit. He's his own man and he just wasn't feeling the mask and gloves. But he enjoyed that sucker he's got.
Princess

This is Princess Belle from "The Beauty and the Beast." McKenzie wore this for Halloween. Actually, she even wore it to a Disney on Ice Performance. Doesn't she look lovely?
Tea Party

These goof balls wanted to have a tea party. In this picture, McKenzie is serving Lincoln and educating him on the finer points of tea drinking. You know .... steep time, water temperature, white teas, red teas, etc. ;)

Pumpkin Head

We went to a pumpkin patch on a Saturday afternoon with Mark and his family (my nieces). We had a great time. Lincoln kept picking up the little pumpkins and trying to throw them. We all had a great time.
Birthday Girl

This picture was taken of McKenzie at her birthday party at her school. She was sooooo happy.
Day At The Zoo!

We had a family outing to the Indianapolis Zoo and had a great time. This picture was taken by the elephants (obviously). McKenzie couldn't believe how big the elephant 'poop' was.

McKenzie's First Day of School

McKenzie was so excited about the first day of school. She got to her classroom and basically left me behind. When she saw her new teacher, Mrs. Nelson, she was overjoyed! I always knew she was just like me when it came to going to school. Thanks Mom for all the stories about how I was because McKenzie is definitely just like me! School, school, and more school!

McKenzie's First Day of School Outfit

As you can see, McKenzie knows she is looking good! She picked this outfit herself just for the first day of school! She is carrying her lunchbox and it is full of her favorite things - all nutritious, of course!

We're Here!

McKenzie felt I was taking too many pictures. She finally told me to hurry up because it was time for school. The staff member standing at the door was laughing so hard. She said that obviously I wasn't moving fast enough for McKenzie. McKenzie ran in the door. After we got to her classroom, she barely paid me any attention. I had to wave like a crazy lady to get her attention. I blew her a kiss and waved and she did the same, but it was very apparent that she was ready for school! Praise God!

The Hair Must Come Off

On Saturday (8/5/2006) Lincoln had his hair cut for the first time. He is 14 months old. Pawpaw was the one to cut it. He used to be a barber in his earlier days. Lincoln didn't like getting his hair clipped at first, but once Dennisha sat in the chair with him he was ok. The above picture is the afro he was sporting once Dennisha picked it out. The picture below is Lincoln feeling good about the results.

Dennisha here - After I saw his hair, I almost cried. As they say in Pinocchio, he looks like a "real boy". I looked at him and felt like my baby was now officially a big boy. Whatever.....he will always be my baby! It has taken some getting used to, but I like it! He is growing so fast!

Hey folks, this is a blog for Lincoln and McKenzie. They do some wild stuff sometimes so I figured I setup something to show everyone. We'll post pictures and stuff. Enjoy!
